A Finished Barrel Racer! He has qualified for the NBHA Finals. Woody has won numerous Championships in Michigan. He is a money-earner in the 3D. He can be pushed by a good rider to be a money earner in 2D. He is an excellent barrel horse for someone who knows the pattern and is looking to move up in speed and skill. He is an all-around speed event horse. He does exceptionally well in the posts. He will always place. He is a true competitor in the key-hole, flag, and down-and-back events. He works off an inside-line. He light and responsive. He does not jigg or get excited coming in to the arena. He will only go as fast as the rider pushes him. He DOES NOT require a tight down. He knows the pattern and will run it everytime. He only needs to excercised. There is no need for Pattern Work. His barrel training using Martha Josey Techniques. He is also a good trail horse. You could ride him with a halter and lead rope during the week and go win the 2D Barrel Event on the weekend. He is very willing to please. He is much like a mischievous dog. He has no vices or bad habits.
